Legal Abuse

Minions:

So you're now embarrassed by past opinions of yours on teh web, and somebody comments on those said opinions. Do you:
  1. Do nothing
  2. Explain (online or via e-mail) how you've changed your views
  3. Pitch a fit & threaten lawyers if anybody mentions your past views or your name and go all abusive
If you're a Type-3 tantrum-pitcher, good news! Most Internet Service Providers ('ISP') don't want to spend any money on lawyers, no matter anybody's legal or free-speech rights, or whether anything your opponents said online was wrong or illegal or whatever else. Your blog-enemies will have no little irritation and inconvenience, and all you had to do was pay a little retainer fee so you could yell "Lawyers!" a lot.

It's a carte blanche to silence people!

Welcome to the web, where your freedoms come and go at a whim.

  1. What was really insane about bluehost was them telling me that I can't link to a website that someone deleted, then I couldn't link to his archive then posting his name without permission is not allowed.

I told them to take down every blog that mentions George Bush that he didn't give permission.

like support 1984land go to bluehost,....
